New Balance Concept Work: Vortex Racer
Vortex Racer was the concept project I complete during my New Balance internship. In a market where innovations has saturated running and popular sports wears, I decided to experiment on a niche sport: Race walking. Despite its lesser-known status, race walking demands exceptional endurance and distinctive techniques. The design emphasis lies in crafting anatomically correct racing shoes tailored for this sport, filling a gap in the market. Because, let's face it, every sport deserves a pair of exceptional shoes.
In the realm of race walking, professional athletes have embraced a unique technique: sustaining a continuous stride on the lateral side of their foot, executing a distinctive rocking motion.
